A Must-Read: Wendy Walker’s Fabulous New Book

For decades my friend Wendy Walker has been a behind-the-scenes CNN superstar. Now she’s pulled back the curtain, sharing her remarkable story with us.  Her new book, Producer: Lessons Shared from 30 Years in Television, is a terrific read –- enlightening, inspiring, and entertaining. Wendy is a superb, hard-charging journalist, and she is one of the secrets to Larry King’s phenomenal success.  Each and every chapter of the book includes an important lesson learned — lessons that serve as keys to success in journalism and life.  I guarantee you it’ll be the only autobiography you’ll ever read whose author was kissed by Marlon Brando and whose 50th birthday party surprise entertainer was Paul McCartney, who played a two-hour set at her party in a California restaurant.  Everyone who knows Wendy has great admiration and respect for her (and I still think the world of her even though she failed to invite me to her 50th birthday party!).  I’m sure every reader of her book will also be impressed.
